Toyota Venza: System Description

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

1. ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY

(a) Warning or Indicator

Item

Detail

Front passenger side seat belt warning light

Receives a front passenger side seat belt warning light signal from the combination meter assembly. (Direct Line)

Tire pressure warning light

Receives a tire pressure warning light signal from the combination meter assembly. (Direct Line)

AWD warning light*1

Receives an AWD warning light signal from the combination meter assembly. (Direct Line)

Slip indicator light

Receives a slip indicator light signal from the combination meter assembly. (Direct Line)

VSC OFF indicator light

Receives a VSC OFF indicator light signal from the combination meter assembly. (Direct Line)

EPS warning light

Receives an EPS warning light signal from the combination meter assembly. (Direct Line)

Washer level warning light

Receives a washer level warning light signal from the combination meter assembly. (Direct Line)

TRAC OFF indicator light

Receives a TRAC OFF indicator light signal from the combination meter assembly. (Direct Line)

Security indicator light

Receives a security indicator light signal from the transponder key amplifier*2 or certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly)*3. (Direct Line)

Key indicator light*3

Receives a key indicator light signal from the combination meter assembly. (Direct Line)

Passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator light

Receives a passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator light signal from the center airbag sensor assembly. (Direct Line)

MIL (Check engine warning light)

Receives a MIL (check engine warning light) signal from the ECM. (Direct Line)

  • *1: for AWD
  • *2: w/o Smart Key System
  • *3: w/ Smart Key System

(b) Multi-information Display

Cruise information display

Total driving distance*1

Six types of information (total driving distance*1, average fuel consumption, average vehicle speed, driving time*2, current fuel consumption, and driving range) can be displayed.

Multi-information display*2

Each system warning

Interrupts the multi-information display immediately when a warning occurs.

DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) display

Displays 2 digit DTCs pertaining to the VSC function.

Custom setting display

Displays the customized setting of each item.

Outside temperature

Displays the outside temperature.

Adjustment display

Press US/M M*1 or SETUP*2 switch in the drive monitor switch to enter the clock adjustment and display adjustment modes.

Illumination control

Displays the current illumination level and adjust the combination meter assembly brightness.

ODO/TRIP meter

Indicates the driving distance.
